​Birth of a New
 
1.
Them: medicine while I know it is poison to others. And I can’t help loving the duality, the way the space is entered and presided over with a quiet killing—not a violence, but providing pathways for death—of their frailties and cruelties. Also, lovely lala, I love how you fuck up a space.

That: A Georgian-Russian millionaire, an irrelevant idiot really. Except magnified a hundred-thousand-times by the avarice of colonizers, and now he is tapping into the extant pollution, he is plugged in and getting paid, and we are all complicit. Who will go tie a blindfold over the eyes of every newborn?

Answer: not any of us

I love you

I hear us laughing in the way I always hear us, as if in the next room. Even when we’re not home, I’ve been trained to hear how we’d laugh. Tonight I’m kicking at the walls, asking us if our lips are dry, if we know how it feels to have our eyes hide in our heads. I don’t know if we’re there. Do you?
